पर अब इसमें हम Hotstar, Netflix और Amazon Prime Video की तरह वीडियो देख पायेंगे। Times Internet Limited जोकि Times of India, gaana.com, Economic Times, Cricbuzz संचालित करती है, MX Player में 1000 करोड़ का निवेश करने जा रही है। जिससे यह वीडियो के क्षेत्र में भी अपना वर्चस्व बना पाएगी।

MX Player के पास 350 मिलियन उपयोगकर्ता भारत में हैं। जिसका लाभ सीधे Times Internet को होगा। ये संख्या सभी Video Streaming प्लेटफार्मों से अधिक है।

हालांकि MX Player अपनी ऑफलाइन सुविधा इसके बाद भी जारी रखेगा।
